Big Plans

Big plans for me this year… well it’s big enough for me ^^.

First off, I will be pushing through with my annulment for my marriage this year. After a certain someone *wink* *wink* successfully completes his annulment papers this coming June or a bit later, I will be borrowing his attorney to run the same errands for me. The downside is, it’s a bit costly. Well, if stupid ex-wife will not let me push through with a previously planned heart operation for my son, then I’ll have the money for the annulment.

Second, I will begin a new life today. Well a life with a diet so to speak ^^. I will be trying out a very challenging diet to counter this ever growing body fats of mine! Hopefully it will produce results in a short period of time otherwise I’ll end up with a low morale like my other previous attempts. Anyway I feel positive that I can do away with this one. All that I need is will power! And now that I have already mentioned it in this blog, I guess this will force me to try hard to succeed, or else everyone will know I failed!

Last is, I am planning to buy a new car this coming Christmas. I know it’s still too far away Christmas but it never hurts to plan especially for big purchases like this one. I am still trying to select the right car model for me, although I do have my eyes already fixed on a few; Mazda 3, Honda Civic 1.8 2007, or Toyota Vios. The Honda Civic is currently my favorite due to its nice interior and good balance of power and features. But I still can’t deny the beauty of Mazda 3 that is affordable enough and the fuel economy of Toyota Vios.

There you go. Three big plans for today, mid of the year, and at the end of the year ^^.

  1. Good luck with your plans… especially the diet part… hahaha… I’m currently starting the diet part again after 3 weeks of my right knee surgery tignan ko kung makahabol pa ako sa summer. need to loose weight dahil eating spree ang ginawa ko during recovery phase… sarap kasi kumain… =)

  2. ako rin magda-diet na. have to take advantage of my hyperthyroidism. hahah! anyway, good luck sa plans. sana matuloy mo. :)

  3. tseri: talaga hyperthroidic ka? ako may hypothyroidism! so good luck talaga sa akin kse sobrang bagal ng metabolism ko hehehe!

marc: napano naman yang knee mo? nag tumbling ka? hehehe! i’m glad that you have already recovered. madali lang sayo maka recover, e bahay mo na ata ang gym e ^^.

  4. hahaha… di noh… heto nga try ko makahabol for what is left of summer for me… kaya yan… at least kapag abutin man ako after summer lahat sila sa gym nagpapataba na ako naman buff pa din hahaha… corny! ako basta ako alam ko may thyroid ako… hehehe… basahin mo blog ko andun ang kwento ng aking right knee… hehehe… lumipat na pala ako ng blog… http://blog.marcmgeronimo.com

  5. Mazda 3’s a little bit too pricey, I think. I heard Honda Jazz’s pretty good with fuel efficiency. Though it’s more expensive than Honda City. :) Buy diesel powered na lang, cheaper. :)

  6. I agree with Bev. Mazda 3 is a little too pricey. Though you could also not go wrong with the Civic which is also a practical car. You could also add the Honda Jazz on your since I have seen first hand that it’s very fuel efficient. I guess my comment didn’t help…hahaha

  7. Thanks Isaac and Bev for your suggestions :P Although I am still having second thoughts on sub-compact cars. I don’t really feel like driving small cars :P But I don’t want a truck either. I just want a “normal”/common car as my first. Also Honda Civic 1.8S is priced at around 850K and Mazda 3V 1.6 is priced at 880K so they are not really far away in terms of price. But just the same, Civic is still better in the spec sheets :) Vios and City has good fuel effeciency if I heard it right.

  8. Another choice: Picanto… a good pick for city driving… tho a little too small (but is diesel powered!).

    Isaac, I don’t think we’re helping Romano here… at all! :)

  9. Anyway, sub-compact cars are making their way into the mainstream so I guess that could allay your apprehensions about them. If that’s the case, you could also add the Toyota Yaris on the list…

I hope our comments helped you in making an informed decision about what to purchase as opposed to confusing you…

  10. Thanks again Bev and Isaac. Don’t worry is still have half a year to decide :) and when I do, you’ll be the first to know. I appreciate the suggestions, keep ‘em coming. Links to spec sheets and local price tags would really help. Oh and not too technical reviews will always keep me thinking and weighing things over. Thanks again!
