Early Hurdles

Life wouldn’t be life without complications and year 2007 is definitely not an exception.

My son haven’t returned yet to his so called “vacation” at his mother’s house and the school classes has already started.  The reason behind is that my son don’t want to go back here anymore.  In my opinion, his mother has already influenced him… as she had done on the past so called “vacations”.  Anyway, I talked to my ex-wife and told her to bring my son here even if he doesn’t like to because its going to affect his studies.  Her reply was, “I can’t.  Not until you have convinced your son.  I don’t want to see him crying when I take him to you.”  Now that is a very stupid answer!  Everybody knows that education is very important and she is jeopardizing my son’s education just because she doesn’t want to see him cry?!  Every child cries.  I don’t know one who don’t.

Now the next question is what should I do?  I can’t convince my son and her mother.   I can opt to travel all the way to Bicol and convince my son face-to-face or just grab him back if I can’t convince him.  Or I can just hope that I can put some sense to her mother’s brain…

In any case, this is a huge problem for me and for my son’s future and this will happen from now on until my son is old enough to think logically for himself.
