It’s alive!!! hehehe my PC is now alive again!

Last Saturday, I decided to ressurect my PC once again.  I bought a Pentium D 805, a dual core 2.56 GHz processor, an ASUS motherboard, 1GB DDR2 memory, D-Link wireless router, and PCI wireless network card.  It made a big space in my pocket but I feel good that I have my PC back online again so I guess it must be worth it ^^.

I just found out as I was installing the OS and the applications again that Microsoft is stricter than before in terms of letting us download patches and secrity updates or even upgrades on certain aplications.  Most of it now requires validation.  A validation for authenticity of the Windows license.

Since most of my applications, particularly the games has a huge dependency in Windows, there might be a time that I might be forced to buy a license.  Maybe when Vista comes out… I’ll have to think hard about this.

At any rate, I’m very happy that my PC is up and running again!
