The Immortal Project

I inherited a software development project that just wouldn't come to a conclusion.  Everytime I attempt to close it, the users would think of a way to add a new feature and clause it as one of the requirements.  It's like they are all Duncan Mc Cloud (or MacLeod), a highlander, an Immortal – it just won't die!  I can hear it now… The Queens singing…

I am immortal, I have inside me blood of kings.
I have no rival, no man can be my equal
Take me to the future of your world.

Well, come to think of it, it's also the upper management's fault for drafting a shitty agreement.  This one is just full of holes, the users can even turn everything around and make the company develop the software forever — that is if they ever think about it.

Oh well, I just came out of a meeting for this project.  And as usual, another set of new requirements so that "we can proceed on closing the project".  Yeah right!  Now that I have a new project to manage, not to mention it is a US client and not a local like this one, this will be a sure pain in… whatever that hurts!  I'll have to work in 2 shifts for most of the days.

Life.  I'll just charge everything to experience.
